The group can also be accessed daily from Port Denarau and Lautoka, which can be reached by catamaran or by a resort water taxi.
The same is true of the other Fiji regions. Reaching the “ Big Island ” of Vanua Levu , for example, requires taking a local ferry or arriving by air. Travelers wishing to visit the Levuka on the island of Ovalau , on the other hand, will need to either catch a flight from the Nausori Airport or come in on a Ferry from Suva . The island of Leluvia , which is east of Ovalua, can be accessed by boat from the island of Levuka or by bus, boat, or taxi from Nausori.
Visitors wishing to spend time in the unspoiled lands of Kadavu can catch a daily flight to the island from Nadi. Or, they can get to the island by seaplane or from a ferry from the island of Suva. |
